Stage 1 Investigate
Investigate your passion and an authentic need in your community. The UN Sustainable Development Goals are a great place to start. You can also find some themes/ ideas or suggestions here.
Stage 2 Preparation
Identify and connect with students/organizations that are addressing your authentic need. You can find these projects on our MYP Service Project Bank,, or start your own project. Other ideas/themes/suggestions.
Stage 3 Action
Plan to take action and decide on the type of service (direct, indirect, advocacy, research), 1 - 2 learning outcomes, and timeline of events. Begin your action plan and commit to your service.
Stage 4 Reflect
Reflect on your progress. Evaluating how your action has impacted the people or environments you helped, and how it has impacted yourself.
