The place I used to live was close to the sea, so I used to go there quite often. The sea that I captured with my eyes was beautiful, but the sea that I felt with my senses of smell was also so beautiful that made me imagine a lot. When I quietly close my eyes and follow the fishy smell that the ocean gives, I am already in a world of fantasy under the sea. The sea child, surrounded by colorful coral reefs, emits a shiny blue light around him. Coral reefs break through the flesh of him and leave painful scratches on the sea child, but the sea still shines with its own beautiful blue color, as if he is understanding and bearing all their pain.

Painting has always been a tool to actualize my imagination. I wanted to go somewhere far away, and whether the place was real or not, I just liked being able to go there in my paintings of imagination. The wonderful scenery that existed on my own TV was so free and beautiful in the paintings of my imaginations. The unknown imaginary world sometimes felt infinitely large to me, and I felt like I became a dwarf as if I would be sucked into the world any time soon. Whenever I was painting, my studio soon was a space of my own imagination.
