Grants

The International Association of Sedimentologists (IAS), the Institute of Geology of UNAM and the Sociedad Geológica Mexicana will award a few number of grants to students.

IAS Student members are eligible to apply for travel grants to cover some of the costs of their participation in the conference. Applications are made through member profiles on the IAS website (https://www.sedimentologists.org/me/travel-grant) where guidelines and application forms can be found. Note that successful applicants must be confirmed as giving an oral or poster presentation, as first author, and the grants are paid after the conference. The closing date for applications is 15th September 2023; please ensure that grant applications are correctly uploaded to the Fifth Latin American Symposium on Ichnology

Becas

La International Association of Sedimentologists (IAS), el Instituto de Geología de la UNAM y la Sociedad Geológica Mexicana, otorgarán un número reducido de becas a estudiantes. Para ello, una vez que sus resúmenes sean aceptados,  podrán solicitarla.

Las becas que otorga la IAS deberán solicitarse directamente ante esa asociación, debe considerarse que sólo  se otorgan a estudiantes asociados a la IAS y se pagan una vez que se ha aceptado y presentado el trabajo en el Simposio. La información sobre estas becas se encuentra en:
