Reality House: Fall Festival, 2025
This year's Fall Festival play is an original adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet as a reality TV show.
Reality House transforms Shakespeare’s tragedy into a high-drama, high-comedy reality TV competition. Hamlet mourns his father and rages at his uncle Claudius, who has married Gertrude and seized the crown. Meanwhile, contestants Ophelia, Laertes, Polonius, and the influencer duo Rosencrantz & Guildenstern stir chaos through alliances, betrayals, and viral-worthy antics. Confessionals replace soliloquies, and mini-games give the audience the power to influence the action. The season builds to a finale of ultimate showdowns, shocking exits, and the question: Who controls the narrative in the Reality House?
The Fall Festival is NTA's first performance opportunity of the school year. It is usually a vignette play or collection of short plays surrounding a student-selected theme.
This is also the season for welcoming our incoming Freshman class and upperclassmen who are interested in trying out technical or performing arts into the NTA Theatre community. It's a perfect time to get involved and see what NTA Theatre is all about.
