We are excited to announce a new partnership with Mobile Serve, an app and internet-based program which will enable us to easily record, track, and verify service goals and requirements.
Students can access Mobile Serve wherever they have the internet. They will be able to verify, record, and track their hours using this program through one of three means - email verification to their Service Supervisor, geo-verified signatures, and kiosk checkout. They can even designate to which service goal they want their hours to count - for their En Christe, NHS, or Other service totals.
In conversation with the Theology and Technology Departments and the Administration, we have made the choice to begin this partnership immediately. Students can begin to track their hours this summer using the extremely user-friendly interface by setting up their accounts now. They will also be guided through this process the first week of school, and they can retroactively add their hours at that time. Additionally, service hours for past years will be logged into the system once most of the student accounts are created at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year.
ALL service hours for CHS will be logged using Mobile Serve starting this academic year, and we are so excited for the ways this partnership will make it easier to track the good works our students are already doing in our communities. Please note that for every entry on MobileServe, students must include a Supervisor Name and Email, and students must sign up with their chsvb.org email account.
MobileServe is available as a mobile app in the App store and Google Play and can be used on most smart phones and tablets. If you’d rather not use the mobile app, you can create and manage your MobileServe account from any internet-connected device at: app.mobileserve.com. Simply skip the download instructions below and start with Create Your Account.
1. Go to the App Store or Google Play. 2. Search “MobileServe”. 3. Tap the Get or Install button next to MobileServe App.
a. Go to your Settings page.
b. Click on Organizations.
c. Click “Join Organization” and enter the next code.
d. When your Organization name pops up click “Join”.
After joining your organization(s), be sure to categorize your service log within the correct organization, or multiple organizations at once, by checking the box next to the org. name and selecting the correct service category.
