Walking for Fitness is a beginner friendly physical education course designed to help students develop healthy habits through walking and other low impact physical activities such as weight training. Students will learn the benefits of regular physical activity, proper walking techniques, goal setting, fitness tracking, and strategies for maintaining an active lifestyle. This course emphasizes cardiovascular fitness, endurance, flexibility, muscle strengthening, and overall wellness while providing students with opportunities to work toward their own fitness goals.
