Students missing class will receive ZERO points until make up assignments are turned in. You are allowed the same amount of days absent to get your assignments turned in. This includes excused school activities and sport events. Cardio Monday assignments can ONLY be made up on Cardio Monday Make Up Days.
If absent for an excused school activity or sport event fill out the school activity/event form after your event. If absent for reasons other than a school activity fill out the fitness article fom. One fitness article for a normal day and two fitness articles for a block day. Read the article and answer the questions that follow each article.You will find these articles attached in the Fitness Article tab above. You will be graded per question. Do not forget to write the title of the article you are referring to and its section.
Class Points/CPR's:
Regular Day=10 points
Block Day=20 points
Non Suit= Half of points taken away for the day
Non-Participation= Zero Points for the day
Tardy= -2 points
Late Work- no later than two weeks after the due date earning 60% of your total score

How to be successful in Mrs. Smith class:
Show up on time- AFTER THREE TARDIES, GUIDED STUDY WILL BE ASSIGNED
Dress out fully each day- AFTER THREE Non-Suits, GUIDED STUDY WILL BE ASSIGNED
Participate the entire class period
If absent complete your make-up assignments and ANY in-class assignments or tests you missed
No gum chewing during class time
No foul language
Handle equipment properly- IF INTENTIONAL DAMAGE, YOU WILL BE BILLED
Keep your locker combo private, do not share your locker or lock, and keep up with your lock-IF LOST OR NOT RETURNED YOU WILL BE BILLED $5
