Hello Kids! We did already our R consonants blends. I am sure you remember how to read them correctly. So today, we will have a review of the L consonant blends.

Remember: Consonant blend is when two or more consonants are blended together, but each sound may still be heard in the blend. Now let’s focus on the L blends. They are as follows:

b + l = bl example: blue, blog

c + l = cl example: clap, clip

f + l = fl example: flag, flee

g + l = gl example: glad, glow

p + l = pl example: play, plug

s + l = sl example: slim, sly
