A year after graduation, graduates of Bachelor of Science in Criminology of Carlos Hilado Memorial State University shall have:
Encourage and inquiry on the nature, causes, treatment or punishment of criminal behavior and how criminal justice agencies function and respond to crime, criminals and victims;
Prepare the students for careers in crime prevention, law enforcement, scientific crime detection, correction administration, public safety and allied fields;
Foster the values of leadership, integrity, accountability and responsibility while serving their fellowmen, community and country;
Have passed the Licensure Examination for Criminologist and;
Have earned a position or a rank in a law enforcement inter-agency, either public or private.

The graduates of Bachelor of Science in Criminology of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College shall be able to:
PO1 Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific filed of practice (PQF level 6 descriptor).
PO2 Effectively communicate orally and in writing using both English and Filipino.
PO3 Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams (PQF level 6 descriptor).
PO4 Act in recognition of professional, social, and ethical responsibility.
PO5 Preserve and promote “Filipino historical and cultural heritage” (RA 7722).
PO6 Conduct criminological research on crimes, crime causation, victims, and offenders to include deviant behavior.
PO7 Internalize the concepts on human rights and victim welfare.
PO8 Demonstrate competence and broad understanding in law enforcement administration, public safety and criminal justice.
PO9 Utilize criminalistics or forensic science in the investigation and detection of crime.
PO10 Apply the principles and jurisprudence of criminal law, evidence and criminal procedure.
PO11 Ensure offenders’ welfare and development for their re-integration to the community.
PO12 Demonstrate ability to participate in various types of employment, development activities, and public discourses particularly in response to the needs of the communities one serves.
PO13 Demonstrate the core values of a CHMSCian: competence, compassion, high sense of responsibility towards the environment, love for country, and excellence.
