Accreditation is an essential process of continuous enhancement that involves undergoing a thorough assessment that focuses on quality standards that help to strengthen the delivery of not just in instruction but in all services necessary in the operation of the institution. Peter Drucker said that "What's measured improves" indeed, accreditation is one of the many processes where an institution is being measured based on quality standards.
Despite the challenges each one of us faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are slowly adopting and learning to embrace the IT world. We are now in the process of transforming our system into a new normal way of doing things. Despite the threat of covid-19, quality education is still every educational institution's top priority.
This year, CHMSC marks another milestone in its history where CHMSC transcends into CHMSU. With its transition, it carries with it the greater responsibilities of honing the youth of our country. As William A. Foster said that "Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives."
Indeed, a pandemic will never hinder CHMSU in realizing its mission to be a GREEN University committed to empowering learners through academic excellence, relevant research, active engagements, and good governance to build a just and sustainable world.
Mabuhay and God bless.

Greetings in solidarity!
The famous author, Jim Collins once quoted “You absolutely cannot make a series of good decisions without first confronting the brutal facts” thus, we recognize the role of accreditation in ensuring that our instruction and institutional integrity is addressed. Partaking in this 3-day ACCUUP level 3 accreditation will provide a written analysis of the BS Fisheries program’s strengths and possible shortcomings in educational quality and institutional effectiveness based on the institution's continuous evaluation and quality improvement.
As chairperson of the BS Fisheries program, my sincere gratitude to all the working committees who toiled tirelessly and without reservations to make this endeavor a success.
Dear accreditors, it is our honor and joy to have you with us. May your expertise and knowledge lead us to higher grounds.
Thank you and God bless.
