I’m so excited to start the new year by teaching 5th grade again!  This is my ninth year teaching fifth grade. Previously I taught 5 years in second grade, was a title 1 teacher for 4th-6th grades for 3 years before that, and have also taught kindergarten. 

I have two children. Gianna is in college and Rocco is a high school senior and plays basketball. My husband teaches High School Shop in Cherry. We have a 12 year old Chihuahua named Buzz.

In my free time, I love reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family. My favorite books of all time are the Harry Potter series. Those books started my love of reading and it has grown ever since.
