A little bit about myself!

Mrs. Delia Lopez-Gutierrez (Mrs. Gutierrez)

I am the JR HS Intervention Counselor!

This is my 30th year in education! I grew up in Los Angeles; attended Pasadena  City College, then Cal State Northridge earning a B.A degree in Spanish Language and Culture. I've taught High School Spanish (all levels) and ESL (now called ELD), adult school courses (HS/Community College), and I've held leadership roles (Assistant Principal/Coordinator). My educational endeavors include earning 3 Master Degrees and a few credentials: Teaching English to Students of Other Languages (TESOL) from Cal State LA, Educational Leadership with an Admin Credential, and School Counseling with a PPS Credential from Point Loma Nazarene University

Whew! It's been an amazing journey! So much gratitude for the blessings!

I continue to learn everyday and look forward to building connections with students, staff, and parents this school year!

Have an adorable pet named Boots!

Enjoy tea!

Enjoy reading!

Love movies!

A little bit about myself!

Ms. Blanca Morales (Ms. B)

My name is Ms. "B"!

I am the K-12 Intervention Counselor!

I became a teacher in 2007,  I have taught from grades kindergarten to high school. In 2012, I earned my Masters In School Counseling and PPS Credential, shortly after I earned my Masters in School Leadership and Admin credential in 2016.

Today, I enjoy working for Chino Valley Unified as an Intervention Counselor, working in small-group with students.

Understanding that a student's behavior is only the top half of an "iceberg" is the beginning of shifting our mindset and connecting with students. Counseling brings me joy, to be able to make an impact on students.

I love animals!

I love to run!

A warm cup of coffee makes my day!

I make sure to self-care!
