California Colleges Guidance Initiative (CCGI)
As part of your JrHS experience, Ramona JHS students complete 2 CCGI career assessments by the end of their 8th grade year.
The 2 assessments are:
Learning and Productivity: This instrument was designed to help a student obtain a better understanding of how they learn and build their confidence in the school setting.
The Interest Profiler: This assessment asks students about their interests and helps them understand how their interests match up to different careers.
How to complete the 2 career assessments:
How do I access CCGI?
Go to your CLASSLINK platform and CLICK on CCGI (app with graduation hat).
For 8th graders, your USERNAME is your school email. If you don't know it, it's in AERIES (ex. 200100800@stu.chino.k12.ca.us).
For 7th graders, your USERNAME is your full name (first and last - no spaces) ex. BugsBunny.
Your PASSWORD is the first letter of your name in CAPITAL, then first letter in your last name LOWERCASE, then your birthday, and finally a "7" if you are a 7th grader and "8" if you are an 8th grader (ex. Hg0211128).

This is a fun website that helps kids pick a career! It has self-assessment instruments, 15 industry sectors with 900 occupations, 300 career videos, a reality check section (for calculations of living expenses) and a search option for finding your favorite career!

It will help you make decisions about the right courses to take in high school and community college so that you have the opportunity to turn that passion of yours into a great job and a great future.
