California Colleges Guidance Initiative (CCGI)
As part of your JrHS experience, Ramona JHS students complete 2 CCGI career assessments by the end of their 8th grade year.
The 2 assessments are:
Intelligences: This instrument was designed to help a student obtain a better understanding of how they learn and build their confidence in the school setting.
The Interest Profiler: This assessment asks students about their interests and helps them understand how their interests match up to different careers.

Go to your CLASSLINK platform and CLICK on CaliforniaColleges.edu APP
How do I complete the 2 assessments?
Once on page, under "CAREERS", click on either "Interest Profiler" and "Intelligences" - complete both by the end of 8th grade.
Contact Mrs. Gutierrez, JR HS Intervention Counselor, if you need help! Complete the Request to See a Counselor and submit it!

This is a fun website that helps kids pick a career! It has self-assessment instruments, 15 industry sectors with 900 occupations, 300 career videos, a reality check section (for calculations of living expenses) and a search option for finding your favorite career!
