Howdy! My name is Amice Warner and I am a special education teacher. As a special education teacher, I am in multiple classrooms throughout the day. This year I am in Kindergarten and Second grade! I love to use a child's interest and background to help them engage in learning. One of the best parts of my job is helping students build their confidence as a learner!
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2013 and earned my Master's degree in Special Education in 2019. I started my teaching career in 2014 where I taught Special Education in Texas for two years. In 2016, I moved to California where I continue to teach. I started working at CHIME in 2018 and absolutely loved it! I think inclusion is so important and beneficial for all students.
I live in Studio City with my partner Rory and our two cats named Sazz and Tater Tot. I love reading fantasy novels, spas, taking care of my pets, and going to renaissance festivals and cons.
I'm excited for another school year with the wonderful Kindergarten team. One of the best parts of my job is getting to know each student and watching them grow throughout the school year! I can't wait for another year with the amazing students and families at CHIME!
