Hi! My name is Tracy Wiessbrod and I teach Kindergarten in Room 6. I love engaging children in their own learning and inspiring them to be independent, creative thinkers. It is so much fun to explore and learn together, each in our own way!
I studied differentiated instruction and experiential curriculum at Bank Street Graduate School of Education. I received my Dual Masters in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in 2003. This will be my seventh year teaching at CHIME after eight years of teaching at a private school.
My enthusiasm for picture books and story-telling constantly finds a way into the classroom. If you ever need book suggestions, I’ve got you covered! I’m also passionate about raising children who are socially aware and want to make a difference in the world. When my two daughters and I are not reading together, we are out doing community service. I feel so lucky to be a member of the CHIME community, as both a teacher and parent! I look forward to a wonderful year full of learning with you and your children!
