Every summer we will have lots of field trips such as : Knotts Berry Farm, Tanaka Farm, the park, the firestation, Bowlero, California Science Center, and going to AMC theaters to watch Elemental. The best of all the field trips is Knott's Berry Farm. We go to Knott's at 8:30 to 6:30. I would say that the best thing about going to Knott's has to be the food, the food was so good, but so expensive. The Hacienda Heights branch goes to Knott's Berry Farm with us as well.
During summer, Chiao Hsin has two classes you must attend. The classes you are placed in for English are based on your grade level. The Chinese class you will be placed in is based on your Chinese skill and age. In English class, the teachers will introduce you to your grade of level of math and go even further. For ELA and Math, your teacher will teach you your grade level of literature, reading, and math.
It is the first day of Summer and the first day of Chiao Hsin Summer Program. You wonder what field trips you’re going on, what Chinese cuisines are in store, and who you are going to meet. Generally, during summer, a popular sport that everyone is playing is pickle ball. It was introduced by Karl, and then spread throughout Chiao Hsin. During lunch, we would pray every single time before eating food. And then, we would say thank you to the ones who served it. During summer, we also had a bake sale in order to adopt an elephant. We raised enough money to adopt that elephant, and we baked many goodies, such as cupcakes, cookies, and chocolate balls. The Chiao Hsin market was an opportunity to spend your hard earned money, called Chiao Hsin Dollars, such as various goods, snacks, and plushies as well.
