Communication

One of our goals is to be sure we have an open line of communication with parents throughout the year. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.

1. Homework Helper: Homework helpers will be sent home daily. If signed by parents, then students earn additional Dojo points. If needed, please feel free to write a note to us using the Homework Helper.

2. Newsletter: Our newsletter will be sent home most Mondays. It will include important information for the week.

3. Graded Paper Folder: Graded Paper folders are sent home each Monday with the graded papers from the previous week. Please sign any failing papers AND the sign off sheet at the front and return by Wednesday of each week. If it is not signed within 2 days of being sent home, students will begin to lose privileges.

4. Progress Reports/Report Cards: Progress Reports are sent home at the 4 ½ Week mark, and Report Cards are sent home every 9 weeks. If Progress Reports and Report Cards are not signed and returned within 2 days of being sent home, students will begin to lose privileges.

5. Class Dojo/Remind/Facebook: Class Dojo is used for discipline and reminders. Please be sure to sign up using your email or phone number. Remind is used for class reminders. Please be sure to sign up. Info will be sent home soon and can also be found on the district website. If you wish, please join our Facebook group CCMS Shelton and Marise Team for updates as well.
