About Me

Hello!

Hello! My name is Emily Marise, and I have the privilege of teaching your child this year. I will teach your child Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies. My team teacher is Mrs. Melanie Shelton, and she will teach Mathematics and Science.

I have been teaching for 11 years. I taught at sixth grade Math at Rose Hill Middle School for three years before moving to Chester County Middle School. I taught fourth grade Math and Science for three years, Reading and Science for one year, and have been teaching Reading and Social Studies ever since.

My husband, Dr. Steven Marise, and I live in Henderson with our dog, Lilly, our two cats, Sam and Lucy, and our five goats. We are expecting our first child in January 2021. Dr. Marise works at Chester County Board of Education as the testing director, technology director, and safety director for the district.

It is very important to me that my students grow throughout the year. Fourth grade is a major transition for our students, so I will support and help them as much as possible. This year, students will be challenged to grow and learn; however, they will do amazing things with support and guidance from their parents and teachers.

Parents, thank you for sharing your children with me. I promise to do my best to support them throughout the year. Students, thank you for sharing the classroom with me. I look forward to learning and growing with you!
