Norton School's Fastest Class Challenge
Every nine weeks students participate in what we call our fastest class challenge. Each grade participates in a friendly competition to see which class runs the most laps during our warm up together. The average is compiled by dividing the number of laps by the number of students currently present that day. At the end of the week the class who has the highest laps/person average is crowed the winner of the Fastest class challenge! The focus of this challenge is not about winning or losing, but keeping that average number and improving it the next time. Finding strategies to improve fitness, teamwork and encouragement toward other students is our main focus of this lesson!
Congratulations to our school winner & our grade level winners.
