Grades 3-6 Curriculum

Students in Grades 3-6 take the foundation of motor skills learned in the previous grades, and begin to apply them to both traditional and non traditional sport settings. Activities are designed to help students develop the knowledge, attitudes, motor skills, behavioral skills, and confidence needed to adopt and maintain physically active lifestyles (National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, 1997, p. 205).
