The language has helped me in random situations. There have been a few times where I’ve been in public and someone only spoke Chinese and struggled to communicate. Even though I had been rusty, I was able to help those people. I now work in fashion and much of the industry is based in Asia, I’ve been able to use my skills to help read and start to understand Chinese apparel reports.
