Students will be introduced to a computer mouse and learn to navigate an educational game website, ABCYA.com

Rotation 3: Indi Robots & The  Engineering Design Process
Kindergarten students will use the steps of the engineering design process to build an invention out of recyclables. They will also build upon their coding knowledge using the Indi Sphero Robots

I can make a plan for my invention.
I can build an invention and make changes to make it better.
I can program my robot to follow the path I want.
Rotation 4: Dot Robots & Programming
Kindergarten students use our Dash and Dot Robots to gain a basic understanding that people tell robots what to do by programming them.
Learning Targets
I can use the engineering design process to solve a problem or a challenge.
I can make my Dot's lights change color.
I can make my robot make sounds.
I can put commands in a sequence to tell my Dash what to do.
Rotation 5: Foil Boats
Kindergarten students will complete a challenge to build a foil boat that can hold a paper figure and up to 10 pennies without sinking.

I can use the engineering design process to solve a problem or a challenge.
I can design and build a boat that can hold Max and 10 pennies.
