I can add clip art to my pages.
I can record my voice.
I can add new frames to my movie.
Rotation 8: Engineering Design Process
Kindergarten students will use the steps of the engineering design process to build an invention out of recyclables.
Learning Targets
I can use the engineering design process to solve a problem or a challenge.
I can make a plan for my invention.
I can build an invention and make changes to make it better.
Rotation 7: Programming
Kindergarten students use our Dash and Dot Robots to gain a basic understanding that people tell robots what to do by programming them.
Learning Targets
I can use the engineering design process to solve a problem or a challenge.
I can make my Dot's lights change color.
I can make my robot make sounds.
I can put commands in a sequence to tell my Dash what to do.
Rotation 6: pixie & Ozobots
Kindergarten students will learn to log in to their computers using their username and passwords, and will then explore Pixie, a digital artwork software. Finally, they will use Ozobots.
Learning Targets
I can use the engineering design process to solve a problem or a challenge.
I can design and build a boat that can hold Max and 10 pennies.
I can use color codes to program my Ozobot.
Rotation 5: Foil Boats
Kindergarten students will complete a challenge to build a foil boat that can hold a paper figure and up to 10 pennies without sinking.
Learning Targets
I can use the engineering design process to solve a problem or a challenge.
I can design and build a boat that can hold Max and 10 pennies.
Rotation 4: computer literacy
Students will be introduced to a computer mouse and learn to navigate an educational game website, ABCYA.com
Learning Targets
I can use my mouse to move objects on my screen.
I can use a computer at school for learning.
