Chemeketa has several structured and informal funding avenues. First, make sure to talk with your dean and program chair about adopting low-cost materials and potential funding. Their support is essential to your project.

Curriculum Development Funding

Chemeketa supports faculty with curriculum development and course revisions. Visit the Curriculum Resource Center’s dashboard site for information regarding funding guidelines and cycle dates.

Chemeketa Press

Faculty developing a textbook with Chemeketa Press are compensated for their textbook authoring work via a traditional publishing contract. Contact Abbey Gaterud for more information.

Innovations Funding

The Tech Hub offers faculty funding to support innovative projects with technology. Past projects include implementing online OER, developing an interactive textbook, a student-created Geology web site, and other ways to lower course materials costs. There are several funding options, including Student Partnership Funding which is designed to encourage projects that involve students.
