For the safety of our students, all visitors to Wyncote Elementary will need to check in at the front office and provide their license to obtain a visitors badge. Anyone who wishes to help with classroom activities, projects or chaperone during a field trip will need to have clearances on file in the front office.
Legislation in Pennsylvania requires community members and parents/guardians to obtain clearances in order to volunteer in our schools. A volunteer is any individual in an unpaid position with a program, activity or service who is individually responsible for the welfare of one or more children or has direct contact with children (defined as: the possibility of care, supervision, guidance or control of children or routine interaction with children).
