My name is Jennifer Ward and I am going to be your child's second grade teacher.  I grew up in Cheltenham.  I attended Cheltenham Elementary, Elkins Park Middle School, Cedarbrook and graduated from Cheltenham High School. After graduation, I went to Penn State University where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and earned my Master's Degree from West Chester University.

I was hired in Cheltenham School District and started teaching Kindergarten at Glenside Elementary. The following year, I moved to Wyncote Elementary to teach Kindergarten. The first fifteen years of my teaching career, I taught Kindergarten.  I loved teaching Kindergarten and cherished every moment!  After 15 years, I felt like it was time for a change. Actually, I always wanted to teach 2nd grade! A second grade position opened in 2013 and I decided to jump on it. I love teaching 2nd grade!

My husband, also grew up in Cheltenham and graduated from Cheltenham High School.  We were actually in the same Kindergarten class.  We now live in Downingtown. My husband is a General Manager of a golf course. We have three children, Nolan who attends West Chester University, Aubrey who is just starting college at Rowan University and Kinsley who is going into 7th grade. We also have a black lab dog and his name is Carson. 

When not at school, I am busy with my kids.  Both of my daughters play volleyball (Rowan University, CYO and club).   We are big Philly sports and Penn State fans. In my "free time" I enjoy reading, spending time at the beach, traveling, hiking and just hanging out with my family.
