a) Geometry (surface area and volume) by completing IXL 7.AA7 and 7.AA11 (enter the code in IXL's search bar);

b) Theoretical/Experimental Probability by completing IXL 7.DD1 and 7.DD4;

c) Probability of Compound Events by completing IXL 7.DD7 and 7.DD9.

In addition to the above, some students may wish to review solving problems using equations and inequalities by following the lesson on Khan Academy and then completing:

1) IXL 7.S6 - solve two-step equations

2) IXL 7.T6 - solve two-step inequalities

Students who need additional support should be working on the following topics:

a) One and two-step equations by completing IXL 7.S1 after engaging with Khan Academy (KA) - 2-Step Equations;

b) One and two-step inequalities by completing IXL 7.T4 and 7.T5;

c) Ratios, rates and unit rates by completing IXL 7.57X, 7.J11, 7.J5 and 7.M3 after engaging with Khan Academy (KA) - Equivalent Ratios.

Students with an IEP should work on the following topics:

In preparation for the start of our distance learning on April 13th, students should be working on the following topics by following the Khan Academy lessons as directed in Mrs. Midzak's email message:

a) Multiplying monomials by polynomials;

b) Multiplying binomials;

c) Special products of binomials.

In addition to the above, some students may wish to review three-dimensional figures by following the lesson on Khan Academy and then completing:

1) IXL 7.Z4 - cross-sections of three-dimensional figures

2) IXL 7.AA7 - volume of cubes and prisms

3) IXL 7.AA11 - surface area of cubes and prisms
