IXL

IXL is an adaptive personalized learning platform that includes skill development in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. All students have access to the full program. Access is achieved by logging into Clever using PowerSchool credentials.

Students can practice their skills daily by:

a) completing 10-15 questions on the Continuous Diagnostic;

b) completing a skill from the student's Recommendation Wall with a goal of achieving a Smart Score of 80 or better.

enVisionMath2.0

enVisionMath2.0 is the curricular program adopted by Cheltenham School District for all elementary mathematics. The program is accessed through PowerSchool.

XtraMath

XtraMath is an elementary math program designed to provide practice in: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. The program is accessed using a student's district PowerSchool username and password via the Google login.

Students may have received an enrollment code from their teacher; if you don't have the code, email the teacher. If not, you can still use XtraMath without a code.

Mystery Science

Mystery Science is an elementary science program that includes both short video mini-lessons and longer hands-on experiences. You do not need to login to access this program for a limited number of lessons.

Students can review science concepts learned in school or explore new concepts that your child has interest in. Topics can be searched by topic, standard, or grade level. Additional lessons are available after creating an account.

Khan Academy

Khan Academy is an online learning platform that includes video lessons, independent practice, and assessment in a variety of subject areas across most grade levels. Students under the age of 13 cannot create an account, but parents and guardians can. If you have access to an iPad, Khan Kids is an app available for our youngest learners.

Students can review math concepts learned in school, and then practice their skills online. Since Khan has a wealth of content (particularly in mathematics), students can enrich their existing knowledge by trying skills on a more challenging level.

Scholastic

Scholastic is an online learning platform that includes projects based on exciting articles and stories, virtual field trips, reading and geography challenges, and more. Students and parents do not need to set-up an account.

Students and parents can select the level of the experience they would like whether they prefer an independent exploration or a more challenging opportunity. Students can choose experiences in the areas of ELA, STEM, Science, Social Studies, and Social-Emotional Learning.
