Hello,
My name is Jonathan Hunt and I teach the music component of the Exploratory Cycles. These classes are designed to enhance our students' interests in different subject areas and hopefully spur interest.
I received my teaching degree from Rowan in 2008 and immediately started teaching in Cherry Hill. Before coming to Carusi, I taught band and choral programs for 7 years at Knight, Barton, and Kilmer Elementary schools. During that time I also directed 9 elementary musicals at Knight Elementary as well as received a grant and piloted a program for african drumming. At the high school level in CH, I have vocal directed many of the musicals, and I am the current audio engineer for the Cherry Hill High School West Auditorium.
In the evenings, I am the assistant director for the Cherry Hill West Marching Lions. I also teach a small studio of private lessons as well as own my own DJing service. In between all of that, I spend time with my wife and sons.
