Hi, I'm Mrs. Gunderson! 

...and I am Smith Middle's Family and Consumer Science teacher! This year will be the start of my 10th year teaching.  I grew up in Charlotte, NC and attended Appalachian State University, where I earned a BS in Interior Design. I continued my education to gain my teaching certificate from East Carolina University in the field of Family and Consumer Science.  I am passionate about the field of FCS, as well as design and the arts.  When I'm not teaching awesome middle schoolers, you can find me gardening, completing house projects with my husband, Stephen, drawing, knitting, or playing with my lab, Tucker.
