This 6th-grade course is designed to help students develop practical skills they can use every day! In this course, students will learn by doing as they explore cooking, nutrition, personal finance, and sewing. 

Family and Consumer Science is about becoming independent, confident, responsible, and resourceful.  By the end of the semester, students will have practical knowledge and confidence to help them take care of themselves, make thoughtful choices, and contribute to their families and communities.
