Khan Academy: Library of videos covers K-12 math, science topics such as biology, chemistry, and physics, and even reaches into the humanities with playlists on finance and history. Each video is a digestible chunk, approximately 10 minutes long, and especially purposed for viewing on the computer.

National Parent Helpline® :A new telephone and web-based resource for parents and caregivers dedicated to strengthening families, provide emotional support and help parents identify solutions to parenting and family challenges. The National Parent Helpline® is available free of cost to all parents and those in parenting roles across the country and is designed to complement all other services available to families. Trained advocates provide parents and caregivers with the help, referrals, and resources they need, and in turn those parents use their knowledge to build stronger, healthier communities. Our services are also offered in Spanish. The National Parent Helpline® is at 1-855-4A PARENT (1-855-427-2736) and is available 10am PST- 7pm PST, Monday through Friday.
In The Mix : Site is run by PBS and is for teens. It has a section with video clips on many guidance- related topics such as divorce, abuse, etc. The section titled "411" has information on topics such as bullying, depression, and eating disorders, and much more. The section titled "911" has contact information for agencies dealing with abuse, suicide, alcoholism, and more. This is an excellent reference for teachers, parents and teens!
