Spectator Policy: NFHS regulations restrict track and infield access strictly to coaches, competing athletes, and meet officials. All parents and spectators must remain in the bleachers.
Looking for official Chapel Hill Athletics gear? Parents, athletes, and fans can purchase spirit wear, hoodies, and warm-ups directly through our official athletics department store.
Training Shoes: Every athlete needs a reliable pair of neutral running shoes. We strongly recommend visiting a local specialty running store (such as Fleet Feet) for a proper gait analysis.
Competition Spikes: Spikes are event-specific (sprint vs. distance vs. field events) and are strictly optional until competition season begins. Coaches will advise athletes before any purchase.
