Solo & Ensemble

Solo & Ensemble is an opportunity for students, either by themselves, or in small groups, to perform for judges and receive feedback on their performances.  "Ensemble" in this context means chamber groups of students (examples: saxophone quartet, trumpet duet, woodwind quintet, etc.)

Solo & Ensemble is a fun and challenging opportunity for students to perform outside of just the concert band realm!

Students who are interested will need to prepare a solo or a small group piece of music to perform for a panel of judges.  After their performance, students will receive immediate feedback from the judges and receive a rating on their performance.  Students who receive a "Superior" rating receive a medal for their performance!
