CHAGS, CHAMS & Cambridge Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week are eligible for tuition reimbursement.
You must complete 6 months of employment in order to be eligible for reimbursement.
The amount you are eligible varies depending on your union or non-union status. Tuition Reimbursement amounts are pro-rated for part-time employees.

Temporary Employees are not eligible for tuition reimbursement.
Professional conferences, for credit-coursework, and online programs that are job related or lead to an academic degree or increased responsibility are eligible for reimbursement.
For some unions, books, fees, and memberships are allowable expenditures. Licensure is not eligible for reimbursement unless specified in your union contract.
The tuition year goes from July 1st to June 30th. Requests must be reimbursed in the year they were completed.* Requests are due by June 15th each year, with all documentation submitted by June 30th.
*An exception: If you are requesting reimbursement for a membership or license, it must be submitted and reimbursed in the year it was paid for, not when the membership or license expires.
Tuition Requests are submitted in CHA's intranet, Staff.net, and is first approved by your manager and then approved by an Benefits representative.
To complete your request, you must submit proof of payment, proof of completion/attendance/passing grade, and a description in Staff.net. Your request will not be approved if it is missing any of those documents.
