Classroom spelling bees happen the month of December. Winners are sent home with a set of study list to practice for the building spelling bee.

The CGES school spelling bee is in January, please check the district calendar.

The PHES school spelling bee is in January, please check the district calendar .

The Jr. High school spelling bee is held in January, please check the district calendar

The Morris County spelling bee is held in the beginning of February, please check the district calendar.

The State (Sunflower) spelling bee is held mid-March each year.

Each building sends their top 3 spellers on to the County Spelling Bee in February.

Only the 1st place winner of the County Spelling Bee will move on to the State Spelling Bee.

Our county Spelling Bee is scheduled the beginning of February. Only the 1st place winner of the County Spelling Bee will move on to the State Spelling Bee. An alternate or runner-up is saved in case one of the spellers isn't able to attend.
