We examined many questions about how color, line and pattern can affect the sidewalk area.  We discussed and planned how images and inspirational words could impact pedestrians and students walking through the mural? 

Sketches quickly turned into full scale practice paintings. Approaching the question-how can we make the lines move and suggest direction and speed? 

Experimenting with new materials and learning to paint with concrete stain.
