Putting in a ticket
It’s important! Do it!
Open Chrome
Go to my.cfisd.net
Log in with network/computer login credentials
Select "iSupport Service Request" (Lightbulb) Icon
Log in with network/computer login credentials
Select “Request Service”
The vast majority of issues can be routed by selecting “_Request Service on Equipment or Installed Software” then “Request Equipment Support.” When in doubt, categorize like that.
Enter room location and barcode (If the device has a barcode, it’s very useful for them to actually put in the barcode, not just 1234 or other random numbers)
Describe the issue, include model of the equipment if you can. (Lexmark 260 printer, Mitsubishi XD221 projector, etc)
Click the “Save” button
BONUS! Answer the survey with 5 stars when it gets closed! (Everything less than 5 stars they don’t count as positive responses)
Install Network Printer
Our printers are dying and the district is not buying new ones! It sucks, I know! But we do have network printers throughout the building that you can connect to for printing.
Open Ivanti Portal
Launch “Network Printers” OR go to cfprint.cfisd.net
Follow prompts to install printerlogic extension if necessary
Click the folder for your department or room number
Check the map on the site to find the printer most convenient for you!
Click the printer and click the “Install” button.
Laptop Wifi
Some laptops are being finicky with wifi connection when you first use them.
Click the wifi icon in the bottom right corner of the login screen
Select “CFISD_CP” and click the “Connect” button
Wait for it to do it’s thing. Don’t click anywhere else.
Click the “Connect” button a second time if it pops up.
You should now be connected to wifi. If not, put in a ticket!
