Here’s how it works:
•Complete the Summer Bridge Activity Book over the summer.
•Return the completed book at the start of the school year with the certificate inside (still attached and blank) - first day of school!!
•Students who return their books will be entered into a drawing for prizes and will receive a ticket to a special back-to-school celebration in honor of their hard work.
**Books are available to be picked up by our LEAP families from our original order, and we are ordering more - call our front office before heading our way to make sure we have your students' grade level ready for pick up!!**

Dear Gator Families,
We’re in the home stretch of our Summer Learning Challenge — with just over a month to go, there’s still plenty of time to read, explore, and grow! 🎉
At this point, students should be midway through or wrapping up the orange section of their workbook and moving into the blue section (now or soon) 😊. This final part introduces concepts from their next grade level, so your support will be especially helpful as they work through new and more challenging material. Feel free to reach out to their previous teacher or our office for advice/support too. Completing the blue section is a great way to boost confidence and get a strong head start for the new school year!
✅ Keep going!
✅ Set small goals!
✅ Celebrate progress!
Whether your child has been participating all summer or is just getting started, every page read, activity completed, and moment of effort matters. And as always, I’m here if you need ideas or support!
Let’s finish strong! 💪📖
It's NOT TOO LATE: Swing by Good to pick up your Summer Bridge Activity Book tom Monday - Thursday from 8am - 4pm.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Ortiz

Dear Gator Family,
As we head into the summer break, we are excited to send your child home with a Summer Bridge Activity Book! These books are a fun and effective way to help students retain what they’ve learned and get a head start on the upcoming school year—all in just 10 to 15 minutes a day.
Here's how the book works:
Green Section (First 20 Days): This part reviews the foundational skills your child learned at the beginning of their current grade level.
Orange Section (Next 20 Days): These lessons revisit concepts introduced toward the end of the school year.
Blue Section (Final 20 Days): This section introduces skills your child will encounter in the next grade level or may be tested on (for LEAP students only).
In total, your child will complete 60 days of short, engaging lessons (10 to 15 minutes a day) to keep their minds sharp all summer long (and still have time to have fun, rest, and recharge during this break too). We are receiving an additional order of books for our LEAP Students tomorrow, so please swing by to pick yours up as soon as possible (call ahead to make sure we have the books you need available).
Flash Cards in the back of the book may be removed and used at home for extra practice.
Stickers can be used as fun rewards to celebrate your child’s progress.
Please do not fill out the certificate at the back of the book. Leave it blank and attached—we’ll be using it in a special way.
When students return to school in the fall, they will turn in their completed Summer Bridge Books. Every student who turns in a completed book will:
Be entered into a drawing for exciting prizes 🎁
Be invited to a special celebration honoring their hard work! 🎉
We encourage all families to also continue reading over the summer—just 20 minutes a day can make a huge difference! Here are some amazing local opportunities where your child can win prizes just for reading:
