Dear Gator Families,
As we continue working to best support our students and families in meeting uniform expectations, we are making a small adjustment to our dress guidelines. Moving forward, our approach will more closely align with Perry Middle School—the campus that many of our students will attend after their time at Good.
Our weekly dress expectations for tops will remain the same:
Monday & Tuesday: Uniform tops
Wednesday: “Shirt That Brings You Joy” or a college shirt
Thursday: Free Dress for $1
Friday: House shirt
Students are always welcome to wear uniform tops any day of the week.
The change applies to bottoms. Students may now wear bottoms that meet the CFB ISD Dress Code every day of the week. This means - for example - students may choose to wear school appropriate uniform shorts, athletic shorts, skirts, jeans or traditional uniform bottoms throughout the week, as long as they are paired with the required tops on designated days. Uniform dress are still a great choice as well.
Please note that all bottoms must follow the CFB ISD Dress Code. For example:
Pajama bottoms are not permitted
Yoga pants, leggings, and jeggings may only be worn if the shirt extends to mid-thigh
For full details, please review the CFB ISD Dress Code here:

We are working to update this information across all of our websites, so we appreciate your patience as we make these updates.
We appreciate your continued partnership and support as we work to create consistency and clarity for our students.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Ortiz
Principal
Good Elementary
Uniforms may be worn all week, but the full uniform (uniform t-shirt, spirit shirt, or collared shirt with CFB ISD Dress Code appropriate bottoms) is only required on Monday and Tuesday each week.
On required uniform days - the uniform t-shirt, spirit shirt or a collared shirt may be worn with CFB ISD Dress Code Appropriate bottoms.
Uniform T-Shirts are offered in the following colors (navy blue, royal blue, red, forest green, and black). You may purchase all colors or one color based on your student's preferences.
Acceptable colors for collared shirts include all Uniform T-Shirt colors - navy blue, royal blue, red, forest green, and black. In addition - a white collared shirt is acceptable.
Uniform bottoms can be any CFB ISD School Appropriate bottom - jeans, uniform pants, athletic shorts, uniform shorts, skirts,
Tucking in the uniform shirt is optional.
Yoga pants, leggings, and jeggings may only be worn if the shirt extends to mid-thig
Joggers and athletic type bottoms (shorts or pants) can be worn as long as they follow all other dress code expectations from CFB and meet our campus color requirements.
Students must follow these dress code days:
Monday and Tuesday - Full Uniform,
Wednesday - A shirt that bring you joy or a college shirt with uniform bottoms. Any school appropriate college top (ex. Jersey) may be worn as long as it meets CFB code.

Friday - House Shirt and jeans or uniform bottoms. Jeans are a suggestion - students can wear school appropriate athletic pants, joggers, shorts, skirts, or a uniform dress with their house shirt on these days as well.
