The Respiratory System is the gas exchange in the alveoli. Oxygen passes from the alveoli to the blood.
Respiratory System
As we breathe in, air goes into our mouth and nose.
The air travels down the trachea into the bronchi.
The air passes from the bronchi into the bronchioles.
Oxygen is absorbed into the blood.
Carbon dioxide passes from the blood to the bronchioles.
We breathe out and expel carbon dioxide.
