Circulatory System
The circulatory system transport the nutrients we eat and the oxygen we breathe throughout the body.
The Heart
The heart is an organ that acts like a pump. It's divided into 4 chambers:
Auricula superior
Auricula inferior
Ventriculo superior
Ventriculo inferior
The Blood
The blood contains liquid plasma and three types of cells.
Glóbulos Rojos: absorb and transport the oxygen.
Glóbulos Blancos: fight germs and infections.
Plaquetas: help to stop bleeding. They stick together and form a scab.
