Overview of the Day
Today you will be taking your group to Activate. What is Activate you might ask?
Activate is a live-action gaming arena with 9 high-tech rooms where groups of 3 to 5 become the players in real-life video game challenges. Each room includes a different experience that tests your physical agility, mental sharpness, and teamwork, all while racing against the clock. You can either play as a group or as individuals to make it more competitive.
You will receive the tickets from the Activity Coordinator the day of the activity
You will need to fill out your Activate Waiver, which will be provided by the Activity Coordinator
The Activate Waivers for the students & group leader will be filled out by the Activity Coordinator
Remind students to wear CLOSED SHOES, as they will be running around, jumping, etc.

Charge your phone fully and bring a power bank
Review the risk assessment for the day’s itinerary and route
Ensure you have the group register and the group leader's contact
Make sure you have the tickets you need to enter with your group
Inform the group leader about the day's activity itinerary and route

Wear the yellow shirt for easy identification
Spend time and interact with the students
Take group photos at key locations and upload them to PhotoCircle

Itinerary
12:00PM: Meet activity coordinator at OISE on 5th floor for huddle
12:00PM- 1PM: Supervise & talk to students during lunch time
1:00PM: Meet your group and walk to St. George Station
1:10PM: Take the Line 2 train Westbound to Keele Station.
1:25PM: Arrive at Keele Station and take the 89 bus North
1:40PM: Get off the bus at Keele Street @ St. Clair Avenue West.
1:45-1:55PM: Walk North for 3 minutes to Activate and check in
2:00PM-2:30PM: Workers will provide participants with instructions and students will get into groups of 3-5.
2:30PM-3:45PM: Students go to the different gaming rooms and play for 75 minutes
3:45PM-4:00PM: Activity Leaders gather their groups and walk to the bus stop at Weston Road at St. Clair Avenue West to get on the 89 bus Southbound
4:15PM: Groups arrive at Keele Station and are dismissed
Directions:
Take the Line 2 train Westbound to Keele Station
Arrive at Keele Station and take the 89 bus North
Get off the bus at Keele Street @ St. Clair Avenue West.
Walk North for 3 minutes to Activate

2:30PM: Get off the bus at Keele Street @ St. Clair Avenue West.
2:30-2:40PM: Walk North for 3 minutes to Activate and check in
