Wow! This certainly came out interesting! It was a very difficult and tedious process to create this art piece. When brainstorming new ideas for an art project, I began looking back through my childhood art memories. One of my first types of art, besides finger painting, was pasta panting. I would paint the pieces of pasta different colors, and make a necklace out of them. I remember it being so fun, so I decided to do another take on this, perhaps something more on my level. Because of my lack of materials as it is very difficult to travel and buy supplies at stores right now, I chose to take a piece of cardboard and glued pieces of pasta individually to form my canvas. After I had my canvas I glued down some dry rice to the bottom corner to add some 3-D elements and textures to it. I then took my acrylic paint and painted one of my most remarkable creations, the joodlefish! Although it was frustrating not being able to paint with such detail, I was still happy with how it turned out! And it has an awesome name! I'm so proud!
