As I was sitting in boredom and observing my younger siblings find activities to do at home, I glanced over at a box of Legos that I used to play with many years ago. As it was the holiday of Passover, I thought it might be exciting to create a Lego version of the story of Passover. It took several hours, but once completed, it included several main aspects of the story, such as baby Moses in the river, the slavery of the Jews in Egypt, Pharaoh's palace, the burning bush, and the exodus through the Red Sea. As you can see, because I focused on these main events, I was able to narrow my focus on the small details, to the point where I added a little frog in the palace representing the plagues that occurred in Egypt! I almost forgot how fun it was playing with Legos and I’m so glad I had this opportunity to apply my art skills to a hobby I had when I was a kid!
