If they aren’t logging out of their Chromebooks properly and go to use another computer the next day, myBlueprint thinks they are still logged in from another device. Please ensure students are logging out their Chromebooks at the end of all uses.
Please see your admin support in charge of PowerSchool. They will have access to a report with the PowerSchool Student #. The ‘PowerSchool Student Number Report’ can be accessed after March 21.2017
Students can be grouped in the report based on your needs for communicating to teachers and students. For example: Homeroom, CALM, Teacher Advisory, Health, by grade, etc.
Student will not lose any previous work. If they have an existing account with saved work, when they log back in they will be prompted for their PowerSchool Student # and First Name. Once they activate their account, their previous 'Non-SIS' account (with the saved work) will be automatically merged with their PowerSchool record.
Before integration, the Counsellor Student Manager feature (and Teacher My Classes feature) includes a list of students that have created accounts. After integration, the list includes all students in the school. The list specifies if the account is 'activated', 'not activated’ or ‘non-SIS’'. Not activated simply means the student has yet to login and enter their PowerSchool Student # and GDOB to link with their PowerSchool record.
We have moved to an automated sync so students new to a school will have their PowerSchool information synced once they are entered into PowerSchool and the sync occurs.
A report was created in sqlReports 4 -> Data Checks -> Missing Earned Credits to find students with missing Earned Credits in courses that have been stored to S1 or S2 and have a passing grade. The MyBluePrint for students has been having issues calculating things like Rutherford and Graduation requirements because of the missing Earned Credits. Please run the report and then export the list for your school and go into Historical Grades for each student to make the corrections for the courses shown. There may also need to be some clean up of the records. Courses where there could be variable credits (PE 10, ART, etc.) or where the student switches from a -1 to a -2 (IE. ELA30-1 to ELA30-2) may need to be cleaned up as well.
Some header courses or non-high school courses may show up. Ignore those ones as there are no high school credits to be earned.
Yes they can. Before the end of grade 12, have students create their own account. However, if they haven’t done this, they can simply call 1-888-901-5505 and have their password reset.
