Hello and welcome! My name is Ms. McDonald, and I am excited to get to know you! I have been in education for eight years and have worked with students of all ages. I grew up in Illinois and have lived in California for over a year now. I have a BA in English and Psychology and an MA in School Counseling. I have been with my fiancé for 8 years and we have a 13-year-old daughter and two dogs. Our family is very active, and we enjoy traveling and exploring nature together. I also enjoy painting and making ceramics on the potter's wheel. I am a firm believer in the power of creativity and fun in the learning process. I want you to enjoy your experience and feel challenged and supported. I hope to create a classroom environment where everyone can feel safe to participate, take risks, and learn from their mistakes. I am also committed to the social-emotional learning process of developing the self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making skills that students need to thrive. 

Hello everyone! My name is Blake Wright and I am SO excited to get to know each and every one of you this year. This is my sixth year with Central Valley Charter Schools, and I look forward to making this year the best one yet! 

A few things that I love are football, video games, and flexing my creative muscle! I also love my wife, and my fur-child; he's a black lab who makes for a very lazy coworker (he just naps all day!). Another passion of mine is teaching, and creating an environment for students to be their authentic selves, nurture compassion and understanding, and grow and succeed! I look forward to meeting you all and having a school year filled with growth and fun!
