- Assignment: Choose a book and read it.
- You get to choose from the summer assignment options available to your grade level!
- You will receive credit in September for your participation — the more work you put in, the more credit you’ll receive. (Think of it this way: If you complete the “EASY” task, you’ll get a 100%. If you complete the “HARD” task, you’ll get three 100%’s.
- Yes, unless you’re completing an alternate assignment for honors or AP, you are expected to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge. At a minimum, you must complete the “EASY” task for your grade level. (Why not start September with as much credit as possible!)
- YES! The English class in each grade with the most points in September will win a breakfast (or lunch)!
- Of course you can read more than one book!
