At Central 301, Student-Centered coaching revolves around the practice of teachers and coaches working collaboratively to support and strengthen instruction to meet the needs of our students.
If you've ever played a sport, you know that a coach's primary purpose is to motivate his/her players to achieve their potential. A coach works as a partner with his/her player to target areas for improvement while further developing areas of strength. A good coach cultivates an environment of respect and rolls his/her sleeves up to get to the work.
Like an athletic coach, an instructional coach does just the same:
works as a partner to target areas for improvement while further developing areas of strength.
