Please read below for information about the
ELO program for the 2025-26 school year!
Before and After School programs will return to Central School District. Programs will begin toward the end of September. Because this program was cut at the end of the 2024-25 school year due to insecure funding, we need to rebuild the program. We were notified that we would receive the federal funds in the middle of August. We are hiring staff now.
Interested? Caregivers complete the online interest form HERE
The interest form is open throughout the school year.
Selection process: Families will be notified at least one week prior to their student’s earliest start date and will be provided with a registration form. They will then have 72 hours to accept or decline the offer. Though we will make every effort to make contact with the family, no response will be interpreted as declining the opening.
If the program at your child’s school reaches capacity, your student will be placed on a waitlist. When a space becomes available, families will have 72 hours to accept or decline the offer.
Important! If a student transfers to a new school with an ELO program, they must reapply at that school and will be placed on the waitlist if space is not immediately available.

The latest child-development research shows that three important things impact a child’s future success: social-emotional skills, executive-function skills, and opportunities for inquiry- based learning-- so our curriculum is carefully designed to build these three areas in a fun and engaging environment. Our daily learning activities highlight group problem-solving, leadership, focus and self-regulation skills, and frequently follow a child’s own interests to spark self-guided learning.
